Here are several of my personal favorites:
I use Groupon and Crowd Cut ALL the time! The deal I buy most are for restaurants and bakeries but they have other types of discounts as well. These vary on a day to day basis and you only buy the ones you want!
The advantage Groupon has over crowd cut is that there are deals in many other states so if you are traveling just search the other Groupon areas for discounts. For example, we live in MN and we went to Kansas City (right near Parkville, MO) so we just searched the Kansas City area for any groupons through the Groupon.com web site. We got a GREAT deal for Agave Mexican Grill and Cantina. We bought two $20(each) vouchers for a total of $40 and we only paid $20. While we were there I ate the BEST fish tacos ever and the children ate Spinach enchiladas (YUM). Anyways, our family of SIX at at this restaurant for only $30 out of pocket- this included the tip- did I mention they had FREE unlimited fresh chips and salsa.
Other discount sites such as these are legit (but in my opinion, not as good of a deal):
I think there are a few other but because I have not personally used them I won't reference to them because at first I was skeptical of even these well known programs. Maybe after I try them out I will add them.
UPDATE:
Okay, so now I have tried Ebates and I am liking it so far! You get a portion of you purchased returned to you for things that you would already buy.
